We are a sister and brother detail-driven duo whose passion for uncovering family stories has taken us to Portugal, Canada, France, Ireland, Sweden, Denmark, Poland, and across the United States. Both of us have completed formal training in genealogical studies at Boston University, equipping us with the skills to delve deep into family histories. In addition, Janet earned a Certificate in Advanced Skills in Genealogy, further strengthening her expertise. We take accuracy seriously. We adhere to the Board for Certification of Genealogists (BCG) Genealogical Proof Standard.
Every family history project is unique. The time required depends on the availability of records, the complexity of the research, and your research goals. For that reason, research is billed on an hourly basis rather than at a fixed project price.
Research Rate: $60 per hour
Minimum Engagement: 4 hours ($240)
Each project begins with a research plan tailored to your goals. We conduct historical and genealogical record searches, analyze and correlate evidence, and document our findings with complete source citations. Results are presented in a clear, organized format, such as a written report, family story presentation (Google Slides, PowerPoint, or Canva), or PDF.
Citizenship Research
We also provide research and documentation assistance for citizenship by descent, including Canadian and European ancestry cases. Please contact us to discuss your specific situation.
